Course summary
The Wilderness Emergency Care Instructor (WECI) course is specifically designed for individuals with experience/knowledge in wilderness first aid, including professionals in remote areas, sports in rugged zones enthusiasts, rural professionals, and healthcare professionals in remote locations.
This course aims to train candidates to become instructors capable of imparting knowledge on how to handle emergencies when the nearest medical facility is over an hour away.

Course Format
100% Online.
This course and all of its materials are only available in spanish for the moment.
The course consists of 10 modules of LIVE and ONLINE meetings with mandatory attendance starting from the start date.
- Online course where each participant follows the lessons at their own pace.
- 10 group sessions of 120 minutes each, live and via Zoom!
- Evaluation: After completing module 10 of the course (and having attended all the sessions), the student will take an online theoretical exam.
Certification
International Certification as a Remote Emergency Care Instructor awarded by the international training network AIDER – www.aider.org.
The certification includes:
- Digital attendance diploma.
- Digital credential of course completion.
- Certification verification on the official AIDER website (www.aider.org).
The instructor certification will allow you to certify your students in WFR, WAFA, and WFA (basic and standard) courses through an international certification.
